Study: Antidepressant use decreases after divorce
On behalf of Stange Law Firm, PC posted in Divorce on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Being in a marriage where it is becoming increasingly clearer and clearer it will not last can understandably be stressful. Over time, this stress can really start to eat away at a person’s health and well-being. In some cases, it can lead to health conditions and the need to take antidepressants and other types of psychotropic drugs. A study looking at the connection between divorce and the use of antidepressants was recently conducted. While the study focused on Finnish people, one can assume the results would be similar here in Missouri.
